Run to Get Run

by Jeff Abbott on July 3, 2008

Or walk. Don’t run if it’s hot. I only like my readers sweaty once they’re reading the book.
Run, the UK edition of my new book, hits bookstores today in the UK and Ireland. You can read a synopsis here and an excerpt here.

Don’t be confused. The book is called Run in the UK, it’s called Collision in the US. I will blog later about why there are two different titles for the different markets.
You might guess, since this website has a section entirely devoted to UK readers, that my British and Irish readers are special to me. They are. The support shown for Panic and Fear from readers from London to Dublin and everywhere in between has meant a great deal to me, personally and professionally, and I can’t wait to go back to England this month for the Harrogate festival and to meet with readers and booksellers.
So, thank you, UK and Irish readers, I hope you have as much fun reading Run as I had writing it.

Can I ask please… why have you called your recent book different names for different countries? Which do you prefer – Collision or Run?

Hi, I’m Portuguese, I read the Fear and Panic and I loved the books. You’re an excellent author. I hope they do more translations from your books.
