Happy Thanksgiving

by Jeff Abbott on November 25, 2008

hi all:
For those who celebrate it, I wish you all a happy Thanksgiving. And a safe one.
I know the blog has been a bit thin as of late on details on what I’m doing bookwise, but I have been very busy with a secret project, and hope to share details soon. I have much to be thankful for this year, and I am. Thankful for my family, and for my friends, and my writer friends and publishing friends, and, especially, for my readers around the world. I’m thankful for you all, if I can say that and not sound like a metric ton of corn. I’m thankful for having a writing career and getting up to work each morning at a job I love beyond all reason.
So, thank you.
I leave you with a Thanksgiving tip: Pinot Noir and a nice dry German or Alsatian Riesling or Gewurztraminer for the wine for Thanksgiving dinner, you can’t go wrong. (My wife laughs whenever I say Gewurztraminer. Sometimes I say it just to make her smile.)

Have a great day, Jeff. And if you run out of Gewurtztraminer, Pouilly Fuisse is an excellent Thanksgiving wine.
