The Organized Writer: Daily Routines

by Jeff Abbott on December 12, 2008

Warning: this website is addictive.
Daily Routines outlines the work schedules of “writers, artists, and other interesting people”: including Charles Darwin (who was exhausted after 30 minutes of conversation), Franz Kafka (who wasted gobs of time and didn’t care), Benjamin Franklin (who should have had a Filofax), Ernest Hemingway (who found waiting to write again to be the hard part), Toni Morrison (whose writing time was shaped by motherhood), and more.
This is one of the coolest sites I’ve seen in a long while. Enjoy! And huge thanks to my fellow writer Michelle McGinnis for pointing me to the site.
