The Organized Writer: The Unworkable Home Office

Judith Matzoff writes about having a perfect home office–one that’s so perfect she can’t work there. I don’t have this problem. I vastly prefer my own office to writing in public, although I do like to write in a coffeeshop now and then just for a change of scene.

I think I’m somewhere in between you two. I *can* work anywhere, quiet or loud, but just changing it up every now and then works best because it keeps me fresh. There’s something mental about having to adjust. Kind of like how my hair always feels softer when I change to a new kind of shampoo… :P
